6. What I will do as your coach...
In my work with clients, I am challenging. Think about coaching as a form of physical exercise, except it's for the brain.
Coaching is not a walk in the park, or a gentle Pilates class.
Coaching is like a cross-fit session where you will sweat your brains out and feel yourself profoundly to the core. It's not always pretty or attractive. I don't want to paint a picture that I'll give you a positive thinking mantra that you can repeat 5 times a day and this will make it all okay.
No. It will feel like hard work. And what you put into it, is what you'll get out of it.
What I promise you, is that we will do this work with love. With gentle care and attention.
We will explore as much or as little as you feel comfortable. We will take breaks when needed, and we'll push hard when you want to.
I'll be right there with you, every second of your journey. If you fall, I won't lift you. But I will help you find out how you can lift yourself. So that next time when you're down, you don't depend on me to get back on your feet - but you will have the ability and tools to do it yourself.
